The 2017 GP4 Offline Championship is the twelfth official season of this offline championship. It is being contested on Grand Prix 4 using the F1 2017 mod. The league will be hosted by Jyri Määttä a.k.a jyrr123 who will return to hosting after spending the last 2 seasons doing his time in the Finnish military.

• On Sunday 31st May 2020, news broke that Nicholas Pascali had sadly passed away from the coronavirus. For the Canadian Grand Prix, Manor ran 1 car as a mark of respect. His replacement from the Azerbaijan Grand Prix onwards was the team's test driver Nikolas Zorbach. Nikolas' replacement as Manor test driver is yet to be announced.

• The race at the Baku City Circuit will change its Grand Prix name from the European Grand Prix to the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
• Just like in 2015, the German Grand Prix will continue to be on the 2017 calendar unlike in real life due to a vote made back in 2014 to keep the Grand Prix on the calendar for 2015 and 2017 and it will take place at the Nürburgring, in an agreement with Hockenheim to alternate the races.
• Just like in 2009, 2010, 2014, 2015 and 2016, the Brazilian Grand Prix will still continue to be the last race rather than the Yas Marina Circuit like in real life due to a vote from the drivers back in 2009 to make Interlagos always the finale.
• The Monaco GP onwards was pushed back a week due to other commitments from host jyrr123.
• The Canadian GP onwards was pushed back a week as a mark of respect to the late Nicholas Pascali.
